Indie Game of the Month: Homesick

It's been a while since the last Indie Game of the Month post. This time we'll take a very brief look at Homesick, a small indie game. This is a very interesting little game and also it's free to download. I've put the download link at the end of this post, but first, let's talk a bit about what the game is about.

Homesick was made by a single developer nicknamed Chloe, if I'm not mistaken. Bravo, sis! Anyway it's a simple game in which you're trapped inside a house with a horrifying history. And so you have to find a way out it so that the history won't repeat itself. Bonus, the lights are out! Your only source of light is your torchlight. You move left or right, opening doors and searching closets and drawers as you explore the house.

You're not alone though. There's a crazy killer somewhere inside stalking you quietly and will show up when you least expect it. You're lucky I told you that. When I played Homesick for the first time, I really had no idea, so when the killer showed up out of nowhere, it really caught me off guard! Overall it's a pretty small game. I suppose you're not meant to escape, it's just a small scare game. I tried it a couple of times and keep reaching a dead end. Then the killer showed up and murdered me in cold-blood.

Anyway here's the link.
Have fun!
