What we know so far - Biomutant

I can't remember when or where I first heard of Biomutant. I just remember it instantly making its way into my top 5 most anticipated games of 2018/2019. What is Biomutant? The description on its Steam page sums it up the best: "it's an (upcoming) open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG, with a unique martial arts styled combat system allowing you to mix melee, shooting and mutant ability action". It's Kung Fu Panda, but your hero is a raccoon and he's far more agile, and kung fu isn't the only thing he's good at. Seriously, it's really cool.

Skyshine's Bedlam - simple enough to hook you in, too shallow to last

It's rather unfortunate that Skyshine's Bedlam is one of those games. You know what I mean: the ones that seem promising on paper, but instead of turning out as they should, they end up a disappointment. Bedlam has very interesting concepts and premises, and along with a very memorable art-style, its mechanics are surprisingly simple yet straightforward enough to suck you in right away. That is, until the imbalances and unnecessary grinding slowly begin to make it obvious that the game is yet another missed opportunity.

Deadlight - How "Puzzles" Destroyed a Potentially Good Game

This game sucks. For your information, that is not an emotionally-driven judgement. I have taken a few positive aspects into consideration, but boy, this game really sucks. Disguised as a zombie apocalypse title, Deadlight is more like a frustrating puzzle game with pointless puzzles and ridiculous plots. There are some good things that I enjoyed, such as the beautiful graphic, and... well, that's just about it.

Charity, Revenge and Loot-Splitting, All in One Day in STALKER Call of Pripyat

It's just another day in the Zone. A storm has just passed and I'm now preparing my things to go out and venture deep into the unknown. Welcome to STALKER Call of Pripyat, one of the most underrated shooters today. This third installment of the STALKER series is technically the best and the most stable of the bunch. In Call of Pripyat, you take the role of a military undercover sent into the Zone to investigate the crash sites of five downed military helicopters. This is just the beginning. There is more to the plot and the game than meets the eye.

Raiding Malls in Fallout 3

Hey, I've been thinking, it would be cool to replay some of my favourite games, only this time with a specific theme! So today's Now Playing comes with the theme "Let's Go to the Mall". You know, that song from the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. But anyway, that has nothing to do with my adventure today. This time I'll be taking a stroll around the wasteland of Fallout 3!
