Underestimating Terramorphous the Invincible

The 'invincible' has always been merely a title. Whatever video game characters that call themselves invincible can always be beaten quite easily. That's not the case with Terramorphous.

Terramorphous is an optional raid boss in Borderlands 2 and available after beating the story mission. He is a giant thresher and as you know, threshers are pretty tricky and annoying enemies, but they're not too hard for the vault hunters to kill. I heard that it takes a group of three to five level 50 players to kill Terramorphous the Invincible. But I was like, "Pfftt... Please. I can do this on my own. I slayed Crawmerax the Invincible. This is just another 'invincible' boss. Heck, I beat the Warrior!" Arrogantly, I thought it would take maximum 2 to 3 attempts to kill him. When I first faced Terramorphus, I was a level 38 Commando, feeling fresh after beating the story.

It took 2 minutes for Terramorphous to kill me.

A few more attempts later (and after having spent quite a huge amount of Eridiums as well), I realized how wrong I was. The colossal creature tossed me around like I was a ragdoll. It was as if it purposely let me survived for a while before it started going batshit crazy waving its tentacles all over the place. Even my most powerful gun barely left a scratch on him.

He tosses me around the way you do a baby.

Terramorphous is literally, and figuratively, invincible.
